 Arrived Tallinn small tour of old city, followed by coffe and cake. Border control and out to sea, all in 4 hours. Next stop Finland!

 Safely at anchor in Finland! Bit of an unpleasant crossing but will catch up on sleep and dryout for a day before Island hopping begins!

 Very light winds in the Finnish Islands but sunshine and beautiful anchorages once you get round or off the un marked rocks! No engine = No rush.    Risotto 4T

 Past ''Hanko - most sw point of voyage; stocked up on food, warm clothes n had a sauna! Sailed about 60 nm nw 2 nr 'Turku'. Rainy but only dusky all night!

 Spent most of day yesrerdy in Turku to get boat partsand look around. Amazing Sunset/rise last night.... from 2230 till 0300! Took lots of photos!

 Been a beautiful two days of sun but frustrating NW wind means little progress & it's really cold! Went for a walk today! Hope for better wind tomorrow?

 Sailed through  night last night. Now moored in Kristinstad, got beclalmed this avo so rowed for 4 hours to get in! Off for a shower n sauna. 1st in a week!

 The wind died on us last night but we were heading north quite well over the last 48 hours, we decided to try and get into Kristinstad, which was possible but took about 4 hours of rowing and several very bemused Fins motored past us waving happily!! All got sore hands and arms and backs today.

We have spent the morning in the town stocking up on food water, internet and putting photos onto cd etc... there is a good east wind for the rest of the day so we will get back on the move and hope to find a good anchorage tonight before the wind comes from the North again.

So far we have not seen that much of finland on land but from the water bits of it look very nice! amazing cruising grounds, amazing natural harbours all over, sometimes lots of short tacking to avoid rocks and get through narrie channels etc but when the sun is out it is great!! the fins all say that the summer has not arrived yet!

The next port we are aiming for is Vaasa but if the wind comes north again we will take a while to get there!

 Spent testerday at anchor, sunny did some repaires. Still leakin tho! Cooked t onbonfire, stormy last night but were on pontoon then.Off sailin now

 Leaks in deck should be fixed now? Hope no more rain in bed!Moving slowly 20nm North of Vaasa, seen only 4 other sails in 5days! Sick of rye bread tho.

 Sailin nonstop,hope 2 leave by 2mrw n trvl 2 Lapland.Met Fin couple yesterday am. gave us fish n showed us their barn with ice cut in it frm winter

 Arrived in Oulu! Rowing again! We get off Teal here and take the bus north tomorrow.  Nearly midnight and the place is heaving! Best get a beer!

 Lapland yeterday, saw Santa n crossed Arctic Circle!Bumped into Brandon and Peter at Kemi Station! Then got night train 2 Helsinki. Now exploring city.
